Book a meeting

Taking your favourite jewellery on holiday: wonderful. But how do you make sure it arrives safely and does not get lost? These tips will help you travel without worry.

What to take and what to leave at home?

The golden rule: leave jewellery with great emotional or financial value at home. Wedding rings and everyday pieces are fine to bring. Heirlooms or particularly valuable pieces are better kept in a home safe or bank vault.

How do you transport jewellery safely?

At the beach or pool

Leave your jewellery in the hotel room or safe when heading to the beach or pool. Salt water and chlorine are harmful to gold and silver, and the risk of loss is high.

Insurance

Check whether your travel insurance covers valuable jewellery. If not, consider a separate jewellery insurance policy for the trip.

After the trip

Clean your jewellery after the holiday. Sun, sweat, and sunscreen leave residue. A gentle clean will make them look as good as new.
