What does reworking mean exactly?

When reworking a piece of jewellery, the original is fully or partially melted down and reprocessed. The gold, silver, or stones from the old piece are reused in a new design, your design.

You keep the emotional value, but from now on you wear something that truly suits you.

What can be reworked?

How does the process work at Cami Caubergh?

It all starts with a conversation. You bring the old piece and tell me what it means to you. Together we look at what is possible and what you find beautiful. Then I create a design, you approve it, and I get to work.

What does it cost?

That depends on how complex the new design is and how much material is reused. Because you bring the gold or silver yourself, you often pay less than for a completely new piece. And the result is worth far more than the cost.
